Rachel Maclean is a Glasgow based artist working in green-screen, digital video that is developed alongside related installation, painting, costume and sculpture. Her work stylistically unifies the aesthetic of Poundland, Youtube, Hieronymus Bosch and High Renaissance painting, presenting a hyper-glowing, artificially saturated surface that is both nauseatingly positive and cheerfully grotesque.
